picturephoning.com has published a great year-end review -- emphasizing the positive -- of interesting camera phone applicationss. The article has something like 20 different applications that were discussed in picturephoning.com during 2003.
The camera phone applications include: Women taking photos of clothing in stores and hairstyles in magazines and sending the photos to friends for comments, people attending concerts who hold up their camera phones and take photos instead of flicking lighters, people with broken appliances sending pictures of broken parts, real estate agents snapping photos of clients as a precaution, Scottish officers photographing graffiti for a database to catch the perpetrators and many more.
It's time the wireless industry took a page from picturephoning.com's book and began publicizing the many useful applications for camera phones.
Other then taking photos, are there any new ways to use your camera phone such as biometrics, facial recognition, etc?
