Reiter's Consulting

  • Wireless Internet & Mobile Computing

    I have been analyzing wireless communications for 31 years. I am president of Wireless Internet & Mobile Computing, a pioneering consulting firm that helps create new and enhance existing wireless data businesses in the United States and abroad.

    I write a weekly column for www.InternetEvolution.com about the wireless and wired Internet as well as writing a mobile blog and producing videos.

    Previously, I created the world's first wireless data newsletter, wireless data conference, cellular conference and FM radio subcarrier newsletter. I was instrumental in creating and developing the world's first cellular magazine.

    I also helped create and run the first association in the U.S. for the paging and mobile telephone industries.

    Hiya, never posted here before but feel compelled;

    So, for added features MoblogUK ask for a donation, this is simply to cover server costs and stuff I imagine, everything they offer including .3gp video and amr audio uploads and hosting is free, and users maintain ownership of all of their own content when they use mobloguk (copyright commons licensing).

    he fact that you cede all rights to your image or video content when you usesome moblogs is unsettling to say the least (for me) but for many this is fine as all they will be using it for is as a repository for images etc.

    What MoblogUK are doing caters also towards people who want to maintain ownership of their content for future use - you will notice the pointed lack of any advertising too.

    Not to denigrate the efforts of others, just to highlight the difference in ethic which drives the MoblogUK provision.
