The four largest phone circuit board manufacturers in Taiwan say camera phones will add to their bottom line during the third quarter. According to an article in DigiTimes, Unitech Printed Circuit Board, Wus Printed Circuit, Unimicron Technology and Compeq Manufacturing represent almost 40 percent of the global market for cellular circuit boards.
This is just one more illustration of my view that camera phones are spawning enormous opportunities in many categories of hardware, software and services from a variety of market segements.
