As I've written previously, Lifeblog creates a timeline for a day-by-day categorization of content you take or that's sent to you for display on your computer, with a subset displayed on your phone.
Lifeblog is not a "blog" in the sense that it can be posted to the Web. It can't. But Nokia is considering adding that feature in the future.
Details
The Lifeblog beta version 0.9 that has been introduced is designed for the new Nokia 7610 one megapixel camera phone and works with Windows computers. However, you may install and use the software on your PC without having the 7610.
The software will work until October 31, 2004. After that time you may not add data, but you may still view the data already stored.
When version 1.0 is available this fall, you will be able to incorporate the version 0.9 data.
Win a free phone
Nokia is warning users that the software is now in beta and there might be some problems. The company is soliciting comments and suggestions.
The writer of the most comprenhensive report will win a Nokia 7610 or 6630.
