Verizon Wireless tomorrow will begin selling the Audiovox CDM-9900 camera phone that includes a VGA camera, an LED flash and the ability to take 15 second videos, Verizon announced.
The handset, that uses the Qualcomm BREW platform, includes a 2.2-inch QVGA 260K, 18-bit color internal screen and a 64K STN external screen that can display graphics and photos for photo caller ID.
The phone also includes a speakerphone and enough internal memory to store information for 300 contacts.
No non-wireless photo transfer?
There is no mention in the press release of infrared, Bluetooth or a PC cable. So, if you want to be able to transfer your photos to a PC without using wireless, this phone isn't for you (unless the release just didn't mention any of these capabilities).
The CDM-9900 will sell for $49.99 with a two-year contract.
