Verizon Wireless is paying for product placement on Telemundo TV's Spanish soap opera, "La Prisonera," according to an article in the Miami Herald.
The camera phone placement occurred a few weeks ago when a camera phone photo was shown as part of an impromptu English lesson, the article reports. A second product placement involved two actors in "La Prisonera" discussing the advantages of caller ID.
Verizon has paid for a third product placement but the details haven't been determined yet.
