Honda has banned camera phones from its plant in Swindon in the U.K. and told its 4,000 employees not to bring camera phones into the building, according to an article from the BBC.
The banning follows the publication of an unauthorized photo of a Honda Civic in a magazine.
(Written on and transmitted from my RIM BlackBerry)
I'm surprised an earlier article, that software had been developed to allow camphones to read written text, had not caused an uproar among security-/scandal-conscious companies and agencies. I have to wonder how long it will take firms to figure out it's not the cellphone, but the fact they need to hire people who don't steal company secrets. I for instance doubt any of these firms have banned copying machines from their premises, despite their obvious contribution to industrial espionage and scandals.

Regarding your plugs for the RIM Blackberry.
I note from their website that none of the models have a camera!
So although you can type notes in on the way to the airport there is no chance of capturing a picture.
Or am I missing something?
