Philippe Kahn's next business after LightSurf: FullPower Technologies?

Now that Philippe Kahn is selling his camera phone software company LightSurf Technologies to VeriSign, as I wrote yesterday, what's he going to do next?

I suspect at least one of his ventures will be FullPower Technologies.  Philippe just sent an e-mail to me (and probably many others as well) with the Wall Street Journal article about the sale, and I noticed his e-mail address was "@fullpower.com."

So I simply entered www.fullpower.com and up popped a Web site (see below) with a sailing theme (Philippe is a champion sailor) that says, "Our Future is Pervasive.  FullPower is in stealth mode and plans to launch publicly February 16th 2006."

What's going on?

The site doesn't have any specifics, but there are some details:

*  The company was co-founded in 2003 by Philippe and his wife and business partner Sonia Lee.  Philippe is chairman and CEO.  Philippe and Sonia also co-founded Starfish Software (sold to Motorola in 1998 for $253 million).

*  FullPower is headquartered in San Francisco.

*  FullPower is looking for employees:  Lead QA engineer, solutions architect, product marketing manager, technical sales engineer, public relations manager.

Mobile communications information

The FullPower Web site includes several pages with Philippe's thoughts about mobile communications, including an essay about "pervasive communications."

I also found an article on another Web site about "ultracapacitors" by a Jim Nickerson who is identified as the chief executive officer of FullPower Technologies LLC.  I don't know whether this relates to Philippe's company or whether it's a completely different company.
