Mobliss' TV efforts
Brian Levin, the founder of Mobliss, had wanted to offer short video clips to cellular phones from the time he started the company. But the economy went into a tailspin so Mobliss has been concentrating on less esoteric wireless products, such as games and text messaging.
Now, however, Levin thinks the time is ripe for videos for cellular. The company will launch a video channel, Thumbdance, and is spending more than half of its research and development budget on wireless television, The Seattle Times reports.
