Sprint PCS this spring will enable its camera phones subscribers and those subscriber's friends and familiy members to use Epson's Print at Home service, Sprint announced today. The service allows you to print photos from online albums, via a PC, to a home printer, regardless of the brand.
Sprint subscribers log into their online photo album and can edit their images based on the orientation, paper size, special effects, etc.
Pierre Barbeau, general manager for Picture Mail at Sprint, says in the press release, "It's not uncommon for someone to try to print their favorite photos on their home printer from online albums, only to find that they're not the size, layout or quality they wanted.
"With Epson's Print at Home, Picture Mail subscribers can easily ensure they will print the image exactly how they want it."
Alan, dont forget to mention that while the equipment that consumers purchase has camera... and even video functionality.... service providers are forcing users to PAY to use the features of their equipment... Verizon for instance makes folks PAY to send pics to one another.. bob at http://wireless-internet-broadband-service.com
