"NowPublic," a citizen journalism site, is under construction with its third version slated to be up today. As of about 12:00 p.m. (EST) the site was still down.
Calder Lorenz, who I think is director of contributor relations for NowPublic, has informed (i.e., sent identical messages) several blogs about the status of the site. He also has posted several photos of it on Flickr (see below).
