That’s what BlogStar (see below) hopes you’ll do, according to an article in ABS-CBN. The weblog/moblog service of celebrity “channels” is available for Cingular, Sprint and T-Mobile subscribers.
This obviously isn’t aimed at me (West Coast Customs?) but the idea of performers (regardless of their caliber using weblogs and moblogs to communicate with fans is a great idea. I wonder whether all of them are actually doing the writing.
Years ago — before the music industry got involved — I was involved in efforts to develop a wireless music business. At the time, it was too difficult to obtain financing for what was viewed as an esoteric business. The venture did, eventually, get established and is operating today.
