Boy am I late with this! (However, Cingular published a press release about it two days ago.)
Cingular Wireless on September 11, 2006 launched the "Cingular Messaging Awards" (see below) that offer prizes for: The best SMS comeback line, the best new slang for instant messaging, the funniest Cingular camera phone photo self-portrait and the hottest dance move with a camera phone video, according to the press release.
The contest ends on October 16 so you'd better hurry if you want to enter. The overall best entry gets the winner $5,000.
The public is able to vote for their favorites and the grand prize winners will be posted online on November 10.
