Softbank, the owner of the third largest cellular network in Japan, is introducing the highest megapixel camera phone in the country: A five megapixel handset manufactured by Sharp, according to an article in Bloomberg.
The camera phone will be available on November 25.
As I've written previously, in the United States, Verizon Wireless offers the highest resolution camera phone. It's the 3.2 megapixel SCH-a990 from Samsung.
[More to come.]
