The Greek ministry of education has issued a country-wide ban of students taking cellular phones to school after students reportedly used camera phones to film a girl who was gang raped, according to an article from BBC News (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/6162243.stm).
The article says that while a 16-year-old Bulgarian girl was raped on the island of Evia (the second largest Greek island) other female students took videos rather than aid her.
"This detail, highlighting callous disregard for the victim's plight, horrified Greece," the article says.
Students who take phones to school could be expelled, the article says.
Greek school teachers will, apparently, be allowed to take cellular phones but they are expected to keep them turned off in while in school, the BBC says.

pls tell to the girl who was raped to be strong, because life is only temporary and our body is not as important as our soul, for those who videod and raped her, they will suffer mentally, thats a fact, in my own opinion id rather be the victim rather to be the suspect because victims are blessed by god and being guided, god is love, be strong lady, we love you,
