Courtesy of Nokia's Blogger Relations program I have an N95 and it looks like there are a variety of improvements for the photo and video capabilities. According to what I read on BGR, the firmware's improvements include:
* Video recording starts faster
* Video stabilization improvements
* Exposure improved
* Video sharpness and noise improved
* Improvements in image visibility in browser
* General stability improvements for browser
* Refreshing web page functionality improvements
* WLAN stability improvements
* Stability improvements to BT connectivity
* USB stability improvements
* General stability improvements
* Maps stability improvements
* Barcode reader icon changed
N95 imaging could use improvements
As I mentioned in my N95 moblog (see below), the handset is my favorite multimedia-rich cellular phone (for the time being). The photo quality can be very good, but head-to-head against a five megapixel digtal camera, the latter would win, I think, hands down.
So I'm certainly looking forward to upgrading the firmware to see if the imaging quality improves.
